Woodies Racing at Dubuque, IA Snocross 2022 Round 2

(Milaca, MN January 16th, 2022) - The second stop of the Amsoil Snocross National Series heads to the Dubuque County Fairgrounds for the 3rd season in a row. The team had a hard-fought weekend plagued with illness but came out claiming two podiums and valuable points for the overall.

Taven Woodie #873 - Pro Women

Still black and blue from the first round in Shakopee Taven got after it this weekend standing on the podium both nights of racing collecting points that will be absolutely essential for her in chasing the championship title this season. She was able to take first and second-place finishes in round one and two respectively Friday and make her way onto the third place step in the final. Taven plans to focus on recovering over the next two weeks so that her body is back at 100% for Deadwood and she’s ready to get out in front charging and claiming more wins for the team.

Dylan Roes #112 - Pro Lite

Dylan had a few great starts and exciting rounds this weekend adapting to this season’s ultra-competitive Pro Lite category. Friday he was even able to take fourth in his first round of racing! We are seeing great improvements from Dylan and if things continue we will definitely see him standing on the Podium this season!

Trent Wittwer #115 - Pro

Unfortunately, Trent was extremely under the weather this weekend. He described it as “my head feels like there’s a million pounds of pressure built up”. Despite feeling so sick he pushed through with a true never surrender mentality to be able to race in his first two rounds on Friday. After racing, however he had to make the call to sit out the rest of the weekend instead of risking serious injury. We know that he will be back ready to make waves and claim podiums once he’s feeling better.
